- The Holy Scriptures
We believe that the Holy Scriptures, namely, the 66 books of the Old Testament and the New Testament, are written by the inspiration of God, are the complete and inerrant Word of God in the original texts. Therefore, the Scriptures are the only authority for faith and practice. [2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21].
- God (The Triune God)
We believe in only one God, the Creator of heaven and earth, Who is Spirit, infinite, eternal, and unchangeable in His Being, wisdom, power, holiness, righteousness, goodness, and truth. There are three person in the Godhead, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Who are same in essence, and equal in power and glory. [1 Timothy 2:5, Romans 11:33-36, Matthew 3:16-17].
- Man and Sin
We believe that the first man fell by sinning against God. Thus as a consequence, all who come from him are sinners, and are depraved. [Genesis 3, Romans 5:12-19].
- Jesus Christ
We believe that God sent, as the only Redeemer, Jesus Christ, the eternal Son, Who was born of the Virgin Mary. Jesus Christ offered Himself once as a sacrifice by hanging on the cross dying as a substitute for all who believe in Him, was buried and raised from the dead on the third day, ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God. [Romans 9:5, 4:25].
- Salvation
We believe God has elected some to eternal life. The Holy Spirit generates faith in them and brings them to receive Christ Who has accomplished the work of salvation. [Ephesians 1:3-11].
- The Church
We believe that the church on earth are an assembled body who have believed the gospel and been baptized, keep the ordinances, and submit to God’s Lordship and participate in the gifts, rights, and graces which are shown in the word of Christ. [Ephesians 1:22-23, Acts 2:42-47].
- Ordinances (Baptism and the Lord’s Supper)
We believe that baptism is administered to believers by water immersion in the Name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, whereby it signifies the believer’s union with Christ, in His death, burial and resurrection. The Lord’s Supper is administered to partakers using bread and wine as a remembrance of the body and shed blood of Christ which He gave as a sacrifice, and the partaker should examine himself and await the Second Coming of the Lord. [Romans 6:3-11, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26].
- Church and State
We believe that there should be a complete distinction between church and state. No earthly government nor any earthly power has a right to bind the conscience of any man. We should pray for the state or government that God ordains and obey them, unless this would contradict the will of Christ, Who is the Lord of lords and King of kings. [Romans 13:1-7, Acts 4:19, 5:19].
- Of Last Things
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, at the end of the world, will come again to this world visibly for the purpose of calling believers to Himself and to judge unbelievers. Christ’s Second Coming is before the Millennium. [Revelation 20:11-15, 2 Corinthians 5:10, Revelation 20:1-6].
- The Holiness of the Church
We believe that all believers must be separated from worldly activities and customs. Furthermore, they must not have anything to do with one who professes unbiblical Christianity or professing to be a Christian lives in continuous sin. [1 Peter 1:15-16, 2 Thessalonians 3:6-15, 1 Corinthians 5:11]
